Short history

The art of applying stucco on walls is a very old technique. Stucco is used as a decoration and protection for walls for a long time. More than two thousand years ago the Romans learned the art of stucco decoration from the Etruscans and Ancient Greeks. The highest quality and beauty has been created by the great stucco masters of Venice.

Italian Plasters or Decorative Stuccos are derived from hydrated lime, or lime grasello. The limestone used to make our grasello is primarily mined out of the Italian Alps. Every time we apply Italian Plasters to a home, we are literally giving the home owner a piece of Italy and its history.

The plasters we use are true Italian Plasters imported from Verona, Italy. They are environmentally friendly, mold resistant, non-toxic, non-flammable, non-allergenic and very durable.
